Default .22 WMR Ballistic Tips

Can someone tell me where I could find .22 mag ballistic tips? Or if they are even made. In terms of .22 mag, what is the best bullet weight/type? I will mainly be hunting squirrels and groundhogs/rabbits. I want ballistic tips but I need to give up about 7-10 grains of weight. Is it worth it? Will the cartridge be affected by wind more?

I've shot a few boxes of the CCI ballistic tips out of my Sav. 22 Mag. you don't want to use those on any rabbit or squirrel if your planning on eating them.

Stick with the SP or FMJ ammo and aim for the head. I save the BT and HP ammo for varmints. I bought my BT's at Wally World

This would be for pretty much pissing around and just for target shooting out to 100+ yards.

Yeah, definitely SP's for hunting. Although, I've found 50grHP's to be a very good plinking and hunting. I p/u a 500rd brick @ GB's for just under $100.00 free S/H and no tax. Get Dynapoint @ Wally's for $80.00 a brick plus tax, $85 about. I rather shoot the cci in my Marlin 823 and rough rider, cleaner, will last longer, definitely worth the $1.00 a box more.
