I saved up my money & bought a Winchester 1200, 12 ga. in 1974, I was 15 (my mother was with me). I still have it today, the barrel's been shortened to 20", and it is my HD shotgun. I know it like the back of my hand!

The first one I shot was my Dad's Ithaca 37, in 16-guage. I got it after he died, and won't part with it until I die.

The first one I bought is a Browning BPS, in 20-guage. It came with a 28-inch barrel with the Invector interchangeable chokes. I have since bought: barrels in 20, 26, 30, & 32-inch lengths, all with the Invector chokes; and, all the choke tubes. I also have the youth and upland stocks for it. I doubt that I will ever sell it. I am keeping an eye out for the rifled slug barrel, but haven't seen one for sale.

I like the bottom ejection of the BPS, and the Ithaca 37.
