Winchester 1200 for trap?

It will not get hot and lock up, it will more likely break a part.
I used to shoot at a Winchester Skeet and Trap range, and a friend worked there. They used to rent guns. They had an empty 55 gallon drum in the back where they stacked the broken guns, and when it got full they would ship them all back to Winchester for repair. All they rented were 1200s, 1400s, and 101s. I only remember one 101 needing to go back, and it didn't get stuck in the barrel. That barrel got filled up rather quickly many times.
What could have happened... did.

As a teenager I hunted and shot trap and skeet with my dads 1200 12 gauge with a 28" barrel. Their are better trap guns but it did the trick for me. Its a bit heavy for a 12 year old to lug around South Dakota fields like I did, but I got through it just fine. I have harvested a very large amount of small game with that gun as well as a deer with a slug.
