Win. model 97 12ga.. question about stock
Anyone know what the lenght of the stock... for a 1941 model 97 12 ga with 30" barrel... It has a butt pad added...and if it hasn't been cut down, I would like to replace the pad with a buttplate.

I have one built in 1913. I can measure it when I get home from work this evening. Someone else will probably beat me to it, though.

Just measured mine and it's 13 1/2" with the original 1/4" hard butt plate. Mine is a 1914 with the original 30" tube marked Full.

Their are companies that produce replacement reproduction buttplates for these.
