So I went out for my first time to shoot some clays today and decided on the 5 stand game. After watching to see how it worked I went in the truck an pulled out my shotgun.
Well all the skeet guru's thought this was hillarious seeing as how I have a tactical shotgun with PG and 18.5 barrel.
So with some snickers and snears from the other shooters I jumped in line and started shooting.
My first game I shot 11/25. Which I thought wasn't bad for my first time shooting at a moving target. My percentages went up with every game Untill I finished the day with a 20/25 average. The snickers and snears quickly turned into questions of how long I've been shooting with my shotgun. Soo, who's laughing now :)?

its indeed a good time beating the codger crowd at their own game with "war" guns lol. i get a hoot out of shooting trap with my saiga12 and red dot

Yea it was a blast, ill deffinitally be back for more. Very satisfying watching them blast apart!

Of course it matters. He would be standing out there with them $4K - $20K shotguns, poking holes in the air with his black tactical.

Nothing says uncool like missing 25 outa 25.
