Can anyone tell me where I can buy a ribbed forearm for a mossberg 500 cruiser in "20 ga" ? All I see listed are forearms for 12 ga, will this fit? If so how is the fitment done, with spacers?

ATI's Mossberg Pump Forend Hopefully this will work, it's exactly what I was looking for. Paid $16.99 for it.

Got it and tried to install it, does not fit. Instructions are junk and they want you to cut and grind to make it fit, yea right. This is the 2nd ATI part that I have bought and had to return...........never again!

Im not familiar with the Mossberg forearm but by looking at the gun in your link what did they expect you to have to grind?

I did have to do some minor grinding of an internal support on the plastic forestock i put on my Mossy500, not much though.

Better ribbed than lubricated.

The instructions said to cut a longer and slightly wider slot on the cutout end by 3/4" and then grind off the internal ribs so the forearm could slide over the tube correctly. I took the gun apart and tried the install, I just didn't feel comfortable hacking the ribbed forearm up. It should be made correctly from the factory to begin with. I also bought a pistol grip a few weeks ago that was suppose to fit a remington 870 12/20 gauge, the supplied adapter had to be modified with a dremel per the instructions to fit properly. When I buy a product designed for a specific gun it should fit as advertised, not need to be modified with cutting and grinding in an area that is visable to the eye after the install. Just my 2 cents, but I will never buy another ATI part again!
