Today I got my 3rd 1100 and my first Model 12. The model 12 is smoother than butter.

While I still hold to the old adage, "Beware the man w one gun, he probably knows how to use it." Bobski called it the "universal gun" theory - but - I am beginning to warm up to the idea of a specialized gun for each purpose.

Dearhunter - I envy your collection. What type of O/U did you settle on ? Field gun or competiton model ?

Mine too..I trap shoot every week..there's nothing like the sight, and smell of that smoke rising from the barrels when you pull the spent shells out....

We are issued Remington 870's here at the Bureau. Once I tried a lieutenant's Mossberg 930 SPX and I never looked back. I will never own a pump again. The semi's are so much smoother and faster with lighter recoil. My wife has a Beretta A300 Outlander (semi) as well and loves it.

With the move, i can't afford it bro. We are talking about doing a family trip to one of the future ones after things settle down some for us. It would be nice to meet some of the folks on here face to face.
