Default what is the parallex on a shotgun scope

Hi everyone I put a 4x shotgun scope on my 10-22T and it works ok for me but I was wanting to know what parallex are shotgun scopes set up for? Are they simular to .22's? Mine is zeroed at 50yds and hits same at 25yds. I was in the market for a new scope and want to get whats correct. The mueller rimfire ao is looking like the one. although I'm still looking and learning. Turret knobs are not availible for it and I'd like to have them but not dead set on them if the scope is good and clear. BDC or mil-dot would also be nice
Thanks
D.C.

I believe most shotgun scopes are set at 50 yards. Most rifle scopes are set at 100.

Recoil on a .22 is much lower than that of a shotgun. Because of this, higher shotgun scopes need to be more durable and able to resist the shock loads and flex transmitted to them. This makes them more expensive than the lower end scopes marketed for .22s.
