Just thought it was funny there were no posts about the old Russian Hammer. I love mine, it's always great to take to the range and get looks like I just got out a howitzer. |

Both of mine have 18" barrels and since they have smooth bores, I don't shoot slugs that often. I shoot 00 99% of the time and the guns handle it great as long as you keep the gas setting on the low setting. If you don't you'll beet the trunnion to death.
The S12 is a sledgehammer and will handle whatever you throw at them as long as it is not Winchester Universals. But then again I don't know of an auto that does.
Check out IZHMASH Saiga-12 Shotguns and get on the Forums. I did all of my research through that site, the guys can be pretty crude but they love the Kalishnakov's. | |

I'd get one if they were available in my country. 
Semiauto rifles with removable magazines are forbidden here, so this kind of shotgun would be a fantastic weapon to have.
I might just import one through a local gun shop, in the mean time I'll survive with my 870. __________________
