I did recently see the new England in walmart for $98 in all black synthetic. But the action was REALLY sticky and I'm sure it breaks in though and it seemed WAY to heavy for a synthetic gun i don't know where all that weight came from!
I have two NEF single shots. They do have some exceptional recoil.
Many gun shops here have a cycle of used guns, shotguns after bird season, rifles after deer. Many times older, average at best condition R570, and M500s show up at just over the $100 mark. The price goes down as the inventory level goes up.
Not a bad deal. My uncle has a flight king he picked up from K Mart in the early 70s. Still works like it is brand new. If the OP is looking for a good cheap shotgun, he could do a lot worse than an old High Standard.
Is it better to do the right thing for the wrong reason, or to do the wrong thing for the right reason? If you do the wrong thing for the right reason, is it still the wrong thing?
Si vis pacem para bellum.
There are two ways of doing something. Right and again.
