I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

I did it out of stupidity. Never blown anything up though. Not like that anyway.

I plan on starting with. 38 spl when I do start. I figure revolver might be easier to start out with since I won't have to worry about it feeding through a magazine. Would that be a decent place to start in your opinion?

Solved that by loading the right barrel with buckshot, and the left barrel with rock salt, razor blades and using waxed paper and string for wadding.

You fired the right barel, and killed the deer. Then fired the left barrel, and started walking. When you got there, the deer had been dressed, the meat wrapped in paper and tied with string, and the hide salted down for tanning.

They just don't make them like that any more, but the game laws now limit you to 10 guage guns.

Ya my grandpa used to say something similar about his 303 enfield. My question is-how much shot did you have to pick out??

I don't reload, I tampered with shotgun shells as a kid. I don't shoot enough to justify reloading.

But...I think loading some .38s is a fine place to start. They seem pretty simple and straight forward.

Can I ask what the candle wax is for? Is it just to bond the shot together?
