DefaultValue of a L 240 Stevens ? ? ? ?

Posting this for a buddy of mine. This is all the information I have, sorry no photos nor have I seen the gun. He is trying to help a guy out that needs the money, what is a fair price of the following:
Model L 240 Stevens .410 shotgun, double barrel, double hammers, plastic stocks, 50+ years old?, good to excellent condition. That's all I have-Thank You !

All I can find is that may be an A. H. Fox / Stevens. Fox manufactured L series guns from 1919-1934. The plastic stock doesn't seem to fit that era, although, I could be wrong. Good Luck, Hunter Joe

Thanks for the info Hunter Joe. Looks like it might be a tough one to get a real solid value on. I'm guessing it to be a bit of a oddball. Sometimes that is good.

ALLYELLOW - Thank you for your info.. I will pass this along. Sounds like a couple of hundred bucks or so should make them both happy. I appreciate you and Hunter Joe checking this out. R-BOLT
