Savage has a new model 24 out. Sadly it is 22lr/410 or 22mag/410. I would be more interested if it was 20 gauge.

It is the Model 42. I agree, .22 Mag/20 ga. Even passed up on a .22 LR Camper (I think the short one Cane is showing above).

Here's my .22 Mag/20 ga. It is interesting but more a "leave it at the vacation house" gun to me. MAYBE a truck gun when they didn't become so pricey. It is too long, heavy, and slow in many respects.

Sorry, but a single trigger Stoeger may prove good for the other guy's survival. Get a double trigger version.
