Browning A5 in 12ga. It kicks softly because of the long recoil system, but is easy to clean after shooting hundreds of clays, no gas channel.

It all depends on how much you want to spend. I shoot trap every weekend. Here is what I recomend on the low end.
1] Browning BT-99 Used $900/1200 New $1300/1600
2] Remington 1100 Trap model Used $500 New $1300
3] Remington 870 Wingmaster. Used $400 New $700

On the high end you can go well over $25k.

Do you intend to compete?

Buds gun shop has the Remington Model 1100 Classic Trap for $992.

I have a Remington 1100 Trap model, fixed full choke. I like it so much, im thinking of getting another barrel for it with some screw in chokes so I can use it for other games and not just trap.

The BT-99 is the most favored Trap Gun among most competitors. Trap Shooting Leagues are having a problem. The cost of shells and targets is getting beyond many peoples budgets.

Lots of people that can still afford to shoot trap are shooting sporting clays. The shooting club I belong to charges visitors $100 for 100 sporting clays. Even at that price we have people coming out of the woodwork to shoot sporting clays. Another club has a 50 clay course. They charge $60 for 50 sporting clays. We throw in a cart if you want/need a golf cart. They charge a rental fee for the golf cart.
