I have a Mossberg 500 Persuader; I’ve fired over 1000 rounds out of it with no problems…

Field stripping and cleaning is simple, and it makes for a great defense weapon.

I have an ATI collapsible stock w/ a 5 round shell holder, ATI Forend “not really fond of it; getting a Butler Creek instead,” 5 rail weaver block, UTG Tactical light, and HiViz Sight.

I like the ATI Stock; you can remove the imitation buffer tube if you want a pistol grip. I removed the supplied screws and installed a quick release pin.

If you’re going for home defense, you won’t need a scope or laser. A tactical light is just fine; you’ll hit whatever you shine it on.

Try one of these, they cycle anything and 20 round drums are soon to be available!

About a grand if you supply the host gun which is about $400. However, it can be done much cheaper if you go with and 18 inch barrel and keep it non NFA. The 8 inch barrel requires a custom built gas system which is where a large portion of the cost is.

Not to beat a dead horse, but the 870s are great because the tactical mods you can make are easy and cheap. Plus, they'll shoot all day. I even prefer the 20guage: I shoot skeet better with it.

But if I had money out the wazoo, It'd be the Benelli M3. Beautiful weapon.

I have a UTG "Under The Gun" and it's works great, heavy duty design, very bright, beam is adjustable, comes with 2 CR123 batts, push button and pressure switch. And, it was only around $30.00.
