I always enjoy seeing people's work on firearms and you definitely did a good job. However, it seems a useless idea, except from the can I do this standpoint. Two shots and you're done. Where's the actual tactical application of that?

I am not questioning your skills, just the practicality of the effort.

I said it wasn't practical in my initial post and that I did it just to see if I could.

However, there's nothing wrong with a 30" SXS with a pistol grip

I didn't there was anything wrong with it, just that it doesn't seem practical. Apparently we agree on that.

I enjoy tinkering with firearms as well. It's enjoyable and there are lessons to be learned.
