I'm thinking about buying a stoeger over under 20 gauge and was wondering if I could buy the 12 gauge barrels and replace them when ever I wanted?

Not without spending a lot more money than the gun cost to start with. Extra sets of barrels for two barreled shotguns start to get common when you get into five figure guns. That's five before the decimal.

Stoeger markets an O/U with both 20 and 12 gauge barrel sets. My guess is they only come together. The set is a field set with extractors, not ejectors.

I like the Stoeger Condor O/U and have shot it a lot in 20 gauge. Never shot it in 12 ga, but if it ix like 20 ga, it should be good.

I didn't realize Stoeger was still making that combo. If you like the Stoegers, that would seem to be your answer.

they are matched and machined at the factory to function on the same reciever just like the more expensive O/U shotguns. so swapping barrels around could lead to lots of problems.

i have the 12ga O/U, shoots great! recoil isn't bad at all.
