Default Slug-able?

So I've got a Sears & Roebuck Model 100 Ranger of the old humpback variety. It's a 12 ga. 2 3/4 in. pump action from 1927 with a 24" smoothbore barrel and an adjustable choke. She still shoots beautifully, but my question is if I set the choke to open could she shoot rifled slugs, or would I have to remove the choke first? Can she even handle modern slugs?

Yes you are fine with a modified or larger choke
