Did you start shooting shotguns at at early age ? They have the eyesight and reflexes to learn faster. We shoot against them in the summer league and only win cause we have the State Champ on our team & a few Big Dogs who have been shooting since before the kids were even born.

I only shoot Winchester AA target loads when shooting skeet. Real men don't shoot trap lol.

I'll be 22 on the 20th and I've been shooting competitively since I was 13.

And I use Winchester 2 3/4 1oz. For pretty much everything.

That's OK, so am I - one of the reason I shoot a gas gun and don't shoot much in the winter.

I've seen people shoot skeet w pumps albeit infrequently but I've never seen anyone use a bolt action before. Probably because the action is "out of favor" but it would be interesting. Not worth the time & effort to slug it across several state lines though.

appreciate the thought.

Bobski, question for you. I was at Dick's Sporting Goods today and they had a sale on Remington shells. Normally I'd see the 'Gun Club' shells in the green box, target loads, 8 shot, with a picture of a clay breaking on them, in 12 ga and/or 20 ga. Today, in 20ga, they had Remington 'Game Load' shells in the green box with a picture of a bird on it. Anyway, the specs were 2 3/4 inch, 7/8 oz, 8 shot, 1225 FPS. image-3129340559.jpg
The question is, how is this different than the 'Gun Club' shells? image-731733874.jpg
Other than the 'game load' has a higher FPS rating is there a difference? Why is one marketed for clays and the other for real birds? What's the 'real truth' on that? Is it poor form to shoot skeet with 'game loads'? They seem to be the same...or am I missing something?

To be honest, there isn't really any difference. At school when we want to shoot International Skeet, we go pick up some Dove Loads at Walmart. In International Skeet they shoot International loads that travel at about 1325fps...they work just fine.
