suppose to be a 2 piece receiver this time instead of 1.
parts not interchangable. bbl's are lighter and swing nicer.
early reports show firing pin issues.

when they bring back the 28ga...i'll be in line. best thing ruger ever did.

I missed an opportunity for one of those at $900 while at LL Bean. I also had a debate w LL Bean's "Experts" who favored B Rizzini who also happens to make the LL Bean Edition shotguns. Those sold for wee bit over $2K.

They said the Rizzini was 2X the value of the LL Bean gun - I disagreed but will readily admit they had alot more experience than I did.

It's difficult to perform a good valuation. The prices I quoted above are dated but the question is still valid, is the Rizzini $2K twice the value of a Ruger.

It is hard to get an apples to apples comparison. The prices on both guns have more than likely gone up. Last Ruger 28 ga I saw was $1,500 but it was engraved.
