Gents,

Let's all calm down a bit. There were some wise words said,on both sides. But all and all it does come down to preference, ergonomics, and comfort to each user. What I like.... you might hate ,and vice versa. If it comes down to me in critical situation, I would feel more comfortable operating a platform that is suited to my style, and needs. I've had the dis-pleasures of being in both combat and a defensive situation, and each time I only wanted my gun by my side. It wasn't a shotgun, but an AR platform, and one I built to suit my style. There are tactical an defensive pros and cons to anything we do to our weapons. If we train with them the way we like them, then that is what you use if it hits the fan. And better hope we got it right!

Seems logical progression of your thinking.
Does that have the tactical chapstick holder and cigarette lighter?

Well since there's a 1300, why not add another? ATI collapsible stock with an Aimpoint PRO and green fiberoptic bead. The Aimpoint came off though, didn't like it too much. Just need to find a new screw to take off the rail on top

it's all a matter of personal preference. use what works for you personally. nothing wrong with that if it works for you. for me simpler is better, for me. that's simply a personal decision that works to my advantage.

i will say this though, whatever options you decide on will not make you a better shooter with your firearm unless you practice with it and become profficient with that firearm. all the options in the world won't overcome your shortcomings unless you practice and know your firearm.

The man who used this shotgun in 1900 was very lucky and extremely happy to have it. It was the tactical shotgun of it's day and the model of all others that have followed to this day. Loaded with 00 buck it becomes a monster and is every bit effective as any other shotgun equipped with all those modern day accessories. Sometimes less is more.
