Yes. I highly recommend the Ontario OKC-3S fighting bayonet for your AR. It is the long bayonet version of the Marine's classic Kabar. Real knife steel unlike M-9 which are crap for a few reasons... Unsharpenable stainless steel, two piece blade, heavy. A rustproof prybar till the tang pops off the blade inside the handle. Defenders argue you can feel it just before it breaks inside the handle giving way so it is "reactive" 21st C. technology. It was designed for the lowest bidders to make.

There is an M-10 which is a carbon steel bladed M-9 also made by Ontario.

I have these on my two shotty's and love them. Been on for 2 years and still glowing. they screw right in to the existing front sight hole, and work good.

Those might also be good for the savage bolt action slug guns. They don't have rifle sights on them.
