Trap guns for hunting

"Trap guns are sport specific and just about useless for any other form of shooting".

Not true. I have a Remington 870 Classic Trap which I also use for duck hunting just fine. I simply place a slightly higher magnetic HiViz sight on the rib at the muzzle and that takes care of the overshooting "bias".
