Shotgun start for airplane
Im sure most of you have seen flight of the Phoenix . What in the world did that plane use to start with in the end of the movie , It looked like regular 12ga shells in a 6 shot revolver cylinder . Either way it looks bad ass and I must have one for no other fact of it being a 12ga revolver cly and would look bad ass sitting at the office or on the shelve at the house . PLease tell me what or where i can get one .

JonM beat me to it. Basically, those were used on pretty much anything with a radial engine back in the day, tanks to planes. Aircraft back in the 30's and 40's did not have batteries for starting so something was needed to turn 'em over to start.

Due to my mild case of insanity and in the interest of safety all i would want is the cylinder portion . I am having a hard time locating what im looking for , I may have to start calling some plane people and hop onto a old plane forum . If you guys come by one for sale let me know . Wonder if some bozo has ever thrown a buckshot round or a slug in one lmao
