Default Shotgun slugs

I just got my first shotgun. It is a stoger p350 with a pistol grip. Does it matter what choke I use when firing slugs? Or will anything work.

Foster slugs are soft enough to be fired through nearly any choke but full may not give very good accuracy. Unless you have a rifled barrel do not bother trying sabot slugs, you will be very disappointed in the accuracy.
In life, strive to take the high road....It offers a better field of fire.

your best bet for chokes is just go out and buy something like a cylinder choke or skeet choke. Choke tubes aren't too expensive. And rifled barrels for a stoeger are not cheap my was about 350 which is what i payed for the gun so unless you want 100-150 yards accuracy dont bother.

Just use cylinder or improved cylinder choke tube and try the different foster type or Benneke slugs. The Benneke slugs will USUALLY be somewhat more accurate than standard foster type slugs.
