I knew a one-armed guy who used a Winchester 1400. I believe it was a left-hand model.

so i think i have narrowed it down to three...

Remington 870 20 ga, which i would get a pistol grip buttstock for.

H&R Pardner Compact single shot 20 ga

Mossberg SA-20 tactical with pistol grip

they are all so different (pump, single shot, semi-auto) I might end up getting two.

or maaaybe (now that i just thought of it) the Mossberg 510 mini 20 ga.. so maybe i have four to pick from, lol. This is going to be a hard decision!!

thanks Guys!!

Semi-auto seems logical to me. I like the tactical model if you don't plan on hunting with it.

It just so happens I have an H&R Pardner 20GA laying around here so I looked at it closer, and the good thing for you is that the the release button is on the left side so your left thumb is in perfect position to crack it open.I was able to easily operate it with just my left arm and this one isn't even a compact.I might suggest a used gun though,a new gun will be a little harder to slap it closed with a one arm jerk because they are a little tighter when brand new.

thank you guys for the info! I like the pardner and you make it sound like it is the perfect shotgun for a one hander. so now i have it narrowed down to two. the mossberg SA-20 tactical and the H&R Pardner compact. i am really considering just getting both of them, but then i would have to figure out wich one to get first!? hmm, lol

thanks Guys!!

oh and thanks for the picture ninjatoth!!
