Ok I could see that with a slug. And I do know the 500 is widely used in military but I have seen the 870 also.

Haha same here. You can't even aim with the pistol grip. Pretty much only to look cool. But I think it doesn't even look cool that way either

I agree. It's stupid it's about like shooting sideways. If someone pulls a gun on me and did that I would just won't to walk up and say your doing it wrong.

Learn something new everyday. like I said, I know navy is 500. Didn't know about other branches. I don't know if spread is allowed to use on deer in il, my uncles shotgun is sighted in at 100 yards. I'm happy at 50 for now. I may bump up to 75 yards in the future.

I try to learn something new everyday. That's why I'm hear to find out what I don't know. And give advice on what I do know. And if I thank I know something that I don't know it doesn't bother me to be corrected as long as its done appropriately I hate when people try to make you fill like a moron. I prefer to be corrected so I don't screw something up. I originally got on hear bc I bought an ar and don't know much about them other than they are ba and I've always wonted one. And bc I won't to start reloading dont know much about it eater. I'm not going to lie tho I thought I knew a lot more than I did before I got on hear.

If you bother to look at the pic, the stock is a full stock with pistol grip. The stock is tucked under the right arm. Yes you can aim with this stock. You can aim quite well.

I am a young gun so i have a whole life time of learning still. I am very familiar with my 870. field strip it and put it back together. I am also familiar with deer hunting. and thats pretty much all i will admit to knowing quite a bit of. I tried shooting a pistol grip shotgun, never again. although stocks like my blackhawk stock is nice. I like it more than the original. it is a more natural grip over the slight curve.

I'm in about the same boat. Im only 21 and hunt a lot and when I say a lot I mean a lot. And I remember When I got my 870 I was about 14. I was cleaning it for the first time and when I was getting in the chamber it came apart I thought I broke it. My mom had to get online to find out how to put it back together. Ever since then I've Ben striping it and cleaning it about every week.

I've got the same kind of stock on mine. But the pistol grip alone without a stock is worthless in my opinion
