Adamhale, welcome to FTF. Why don't you swing by the introductions subforum and tell us a bit about yourself?
Posting pics of your shotgun would also help. Does it look like the one in this gunbroker ad?

I've read that Savage used to provide shotguns to Western, who in turn sold them under the Revelation trade mark. But since yours is marked as an Italian import, it's more than likely not a Savage. The pump models were apparently made by Mossberg.

Looks like a Franchi. Italian made semi-auto. I had a Franchi Light 12 some years ago. Good shotgun.

I've been looking at some shotgun forums and asking at my club, and the consensus seems to be that the Italian ones are indeed Franchis. Good guns but, from what I've read, not worth much. Around $200 depending on condition is what I've seen.
I'm no expert, though, just researched it a bit and asked a few blokes who're into shotguns.
If it shoots anything like the modern Franchis I've handled, I would keep it!

I haven't shot the gun much but I will be sure to only shot 2 3/4 through it.It is a neat gun I haven't shot to many semi auto shot guns but this one when you shot the hole barrel slides in to the receiver then back out

Almost assuredly a Franchi. They are a variant of the Browning A-5 system of the long recoil operated action. The barrel stays locked to the bolt as they each move rearward. They tend to be a little rougher on the shoulder than a gas operated auto, but very reliable.
