Default Sears model M200 .20 ga. shotgun

My son in law pickd up a used Sears M200 .20 guage shotgun the other day for $55.00. The price was low because the wood stock had been badly damaged. I've disassembled it, cleaned it, and other then some minor surface rust on the exterior of the barrel shes is really good shape. The wood on the pump slide is near perfect so I only need the buttstock.

I've been researching this shotgun trying to find a new or used replacement stock for it and all I found is that Winchester made this shotgun for Sears some time ago. It looks alot like the old Winchester model 1200 but I'm not totally sure if it's exactly the same in shape and size where it attaches to the reciever. I've found some good used Winchester stocks for around $39.00 on the net but am not sure if they are close enough to fit this Sears M200.

Does anyone here know where a replacement stock can be found for this Sears M200?

Does anyone here know if theres a Winchester model stock that will fit this sears M200?

You might try gunbroker.com for the stock. I think I saw one listed there when looking for stock for a gun I was thinking of buying. I ended up getting one that was close to what I wanted and having my gunsmith’s guy fit it.

If anyone can come up with a stock they can. I have gotten three from them. Forgot about them until my grandson reminded me.

The buttstock on the Sears 200 has a different shape than the Winchester 1200 buttstock at the point at which they attach to the receiver. The 1200 receiver has an forward indentation on each side that the 200's receiver doesn't have.

Yep. I see that. Going to have to find one made for the Sears M200.
