So I tried my hand at refinishing an old shotgun this weekend. We got it for free from my girlfriends father and it doesn't have a high dollar value at all. The stock was all chipped and faded and there was a bit of rust on the barrel and receiver. So I grabbed a Birchwood Casey kit at the local gun shop and gave it a shot. Here's a few pictures. The first one is after being sanded. I forgot to take a complete before pic.
