Year-all I can tell from Browning's website and the serial # is that it was pre ww2.
28" barrel
no pad installed
no rib
I think it is an improved cylinder

I'm no expert but I would say in the 5-600 dollar range
That is about right. One just sold on Gunbroker very similar to yours (except it had a rib) for 549
