Saw a Savage Model 720 12 gauge today marked at $265. Condition appeared to be good. Couldn't find a SN. The date of origin was estimated between 1930-1945 according to the old man selling it.

NOBODY? C'mon the show ends tomorrow. I wanna bite, but would appreciate either some encouragement or a slap in the face. . . I also am either hot or cold with my negotiating skills, given the day and my frame of mind.
Would be grateful for a fellow bro's opinion, if not I'll just use the usual Google top ten crap.
720 is good to go. If it is in good shape, I'd pay $265. Can you check to see if the fiber pad is intact at the rear of the receiver? That will tell you if it has had a hard life, and if it is good to go.
