So long story shortish I purchased this shot gun, savage model 69RXL Series E 12 gauge pump shot gun, as my first firearm for home defence, only shot it a few time and was really comfortable with it. I have been looking all over the internet for info but found for the most part only sales ads for them. After reading several different 'whats a good shotgun for me' threads I never saw this gun mentioned. did I buy a bad gun or did I find a 'diamond in the rough' that are rare and therefor never really considered a viable option. In other words was it worth 200$ thx in advance

Don't know anything about the shotty you bought. What is your opinion? $200 for a first home defense shotty is very good though!

So far no problem with it at all, but I have only put around 75 rounds through it all together.
