sabot slugs

can you shoot sabot slugs out of an unrifled barrel that is un choked? if so i assume accuracy is bad.

You'll hit SOMETHING at 25 yds.

Sabot slugs, RIFLED bbl.

Rifled slugs, SMOOTHBORE bbl

Lol i did once shoot sabot slugs out of a mossberg 18.5 inch smoothbore... at 100 yards I did get close.. but you could actually SEE the round kinda tumble...

My question is why? When a box of sabots cost 16 bucks for 5 and accuracy sucks what's the point? Your just pissing away money. Buy the cheap 1 oz slugs for smoothbore

i was just wondering. i am picking up a rifled barrel but only have a smoothbore now

Don't listen to them. The sabots work just fine from a smooth bore...at 5 yards :)

well im not going to shoot them until i order the rifled barrel. theyre expensive lol
