Rock Island M5 - picky when it comes to target loads?
I recently purchased a Rock Island M5 shotgun and overall have been pleased.
I did however, have issues when shooting Federal Target Load through it.
Half the time it shoots fine, the other half the time, it just goes click.
The hammer strikes the primer but not deep enough or so it seems. There's just a small indentation. Buck shot and slugs shoot through it just fine but jot target load. Anyone else have this problem?

Here's a photo. Another interesting thing is that my best friend has the same exact shot gun. Hers shoots Federal Target Load just fine. I took it to the gun smith and they said simply that my shot gun "doesn't like target load". And offered no fix. I'm not terribly concerned because its a home defense shot gun and like I said I my first post, it shoots slugs and buck shot just fine.
I have the same model only parkerized. The only problem I have noticed is feeding and ejecting winchester target loads. Mine cycles slugs and buck just fine.
Have you tried breaking it down and cleaning the bolt and trigger group with brake cleaner? Could be that the packing oil and grease needs to be removed throughly.
