Default Rifled choke tubes - pics of the Hastings

What are peoples thoughts on these, here is the Verney Carron Hastings which is an extended one (considerably @ 6", and 8" overall). I wont be able to shoot it for a while yet, but will probably only opt for sabot slugs, as no directions came with it. I will ask the manufacturers though as it would be nice to shoot others.

Here are some pics, it is very nicely made and pretty well finished.

As you see the lead in is smooth for the first inch or so,

And the muzzle,

Yeah I cant wait to try it, shame theres nothing to say if you can fire unsabotted slugs through it or not... I know some people do with good results but I'd prefer to have it OK'd by the maker or seller first.
