Maybe I'm turning into a cranky old man, but I think when you go to a Remington dealer and tell the man you want to buy a shotgun, he should say "870 or 1100?"

So much for believing in innovation having a positive effect on a product or idea, especially when it comes to business, if new ideas never surface an old business idea becomes just that, and others start to look elsewhere regardless of specific reliability and credibility. I say cheers to new ideas and improvements and respect cranky and old as an opinion as well.

The Rem M887 has been phenomenal and flawless so far on all three of my fall pheasant hunts. I am looking forward to taking it out for duck soon as well. All in all I am extremely happy with the shotgun and it truely is an excellent turkey and upland bird gun. I am sure it will work out in the duck fields as well. I highly recommend getting one if your into the new design and are looking for an excellent all weather shotgun and do not compare it to an 870 because its in a class of it own...
