Remington 870 makes quite a bit of noise were as the mossberg 500 doesn't make a lot of noise but it depends on year and what you are doing

I beg to differ. My 870 is way more quite than my dads 20 ga 500. The bolt rattles inside the frame when closed on the 500.

870 all the way easier to take down then 500, also the safety is in the perfect spot for a pistol grip unlike the 500.

Remingtons are rugged, manly, kickass and simply the best. Mossbergs are a decent cheaper knock off. Benellis are those expensive plastic things the rich douches buy. And last Brownings are the things the other guys wish they had.

I have a 500 that I bought used at a pawn shop about 10 years ago. It was beat to crap when I bought it. But it still works great. Goes bang every time I pull the trigger.

Yeah what all these remmington fanboys are saying. Mossbergs are for boys. Like the military. Concidering they are the only pump that meets milspec.... Remmingtons are for cool kids, like mall cops. And... normal cops. But not so much the people who actually use em in combat.

Edit: not trying to be a fanboy here. Just keeping everyone honest.
