Hey guys, whats shakin!?

Im in the market for an 870p, and Id like to find a great deal on one. Ive heard about police trade ins and have found a couple of places that have 'em but are pretty expensive. I know that they are generally pretty beat, but I have a couple of contacts that would parkerize, and Im pretty good with furniture and refurbishing the action. Looking for a project or three for Xmas presents for my family

Would anyone have a tip on how/where to find a bargain on these trades ins? thanks!!

The 870 P's came in several iterations. The most common you will find on the used market are 18" bbl with 5 shot tube and 18" bbl with full length (7 shot) tube.

Some of the later ones had IC barrels, and fewer still had screw in chokes.

Check GT Distributors and Bud's. They pop up from time to time. I am waiting with baited breath for my agency to unload the Winchester Defenders to GT's so I can pick up 3 or 4.
