I've seen it before. That may solve the issue on a few select guns, but it is not THE answer. Rough chambers are much more common than those ridges.

I bought my 870 two years ago and it jammed on ejecting on the first few rounds fired to the extent I had to remove the barrel and push the shell casing out with my cleaning rod. The problem went away after firing a couple boxes of shells. It certainly pi$$ed me off to have that happen with a brand new gun! I noticed it only has one extractor and I really would prefer a shottie that has dual extractors.

Freedom group, the investment company that owns remington, is up for sale. Wait and see who buys it, the ones being made now might be better than the future ones. Maybe remington will die, who knows.

Just don't use that gun where you ever have to rely on it. Ever.

Remingtons!

What then do you recommend other than reading out my 870 for something else? EVERYTHING and any problem has a solution!
