remington 870 ?
I have a remington 870 and i noticed a star on the barrel, what is that for....i got it in a trade so im not sure which model it is

How big is it, where is it located and is there any text with it?

The model is wingmaster or express or something similar, the name is on the side of the receiver.

Mine has several asterisks followed by 12 Ga 2 3/4 and 3". So similar... Probably just keeps track of generation. when it came off the line and such.

U have more than one star, n theres magnum, express, and wingmaster i dnt know the diffrence and tbought the star resemeled a particular model
