Default Remington 1100

2 part question. I have a Remington 1100 trap gun with a 28" barrel. I got it at an auction 15 yrs ago or so. It is in excellent condition. Any idea what it's worth?
It has a Monte Carlo stock which I hate. How much of a hassle is it to have it changed or modified where I can see down the barrel of it?

you could take it to a gun dealer and have it appraised for it's value or even look at some of the auction sites and see what similar shotguns are selling for.

also hit some of the auction sites and see if anyone might be selling a set of stocks for one. might check out Ebay too. one auction site i like to recommend is GunBroker.com . check out Boyd's Gunstocks, they might have some in walnut or laminate that might be to your liking. i hope this helps you out.

At a wild guess, $400 to $550 depending on condition. Regular stock sets are available all over the place - even eBay - so take a look. You would do better to buy one and sell yours, as a lot of people like the MC buttstock, and they usually go for a bit more money.
