Default Rem. 870 saftey

I have been thinking about putting an oversized safety button on my 20 gauge but do you know if I could just by any Remington 870 safety and have it work on my 20 gauge?

Any Remington right handed 870 or 1100 safety will work. They have made leftys of both models too. Actually the left handed safety will work too, but unless you are a lefty too .....
What could have happened... did.

The gentleman above me is absolutly correct.
The safeties are interchangeable and relativly easy to switch out.
Love my 870 enjoy it
