What ranges are we talking about? Rifled slug barrel? What kind of slugs? If rifled barrel w good slugs I'd say get a Nikon slug pro 3-9x32. If not rifled then I'd say get iron peep sights.

God didnt make all men equal colonel Sam Colt did

Prolly anywhere from 25 to 100 yards right now its got a 28 inch ported accuchoke barrel on smooth bore with bead sights I was thinking about getting the 500 slugster barrel also it comes with a Bushnell scope already on it. Would a rifled slug or a Sabot slug be better for deer?

if you want to use sabot's dont forget to get a rifled barrel, not the 28" smoothbore you were considering

I learned how to shoot with a red dot. That is all on what you like. I shoot smooth bore slugs and can keep the group within a 3 inch circle at 75 yards with a modified choke. You dont need a rifled barrel.

I have both barrels for it now so sabots will be shot through the rifled barrel only

Nope you don't. Accuracy is relative to the person. I personally don't think 3" groups at 75 yards is accurate. Not when my 817 w rifled slug barrel puts out 1.5" groups at 75 yards w Remington Buck hammer slugs.
