Default recearch help please

I need the help of the FTF brain trust. I’m doing little research on an 870, things such as MFG. date, the problem I’m running into is serial numbers, (the lack of) if anyone knows how to obtain the definitions of the armors marks
(cv, the # 14, a triangle with an “S” in the center and an arrow head) on the barrel. Please share your knowledge. I’m thinking early to mid. 60s because of the lack of serial numbers. Help if you can thanks

From blue book using CV I get April of 1979. That is using a barrel date code.

I have never seen an 870 without a Serial number stamped on the left side of the receiver.

What could have happened... did.

Remington Dates of Manufacture

Remington Society of America - questions/barrelcodes

Those should help.
