I really like shooting skeet but I end up shooting more sporting clays. Almost all my friends prefer sporting clays. It's hard to find a partner to shoot skeet. I almost always shoot a pump shotgun. I have shot pump shotguns all my life...not going to shoot a double barrel to look cool. I have had a few people make remarks. Almost every time in the end I rub it in how their double barrel is inferior. I don't really care if I piss off a gun snob. They will never be my friend anyway.

Revived two old threads in one day! That's gotta be a record! I shouldn't talk though, I've revived an old thread accidentally once.

On thread topic: I LOVE to shoot clays!! You name it skeet, trap, sporting I shoot it all.

Trap. I have a very bad habit of changing my main gun annually -- lol.

I've been shooting skeet regularly now for 5 years or so. I've shot Remington, Beretta, Mossberg, Stoeger, and Winchester shotguns. But you are all going to laugh at my favorite.....

Many years ago, shot A Lot of trap and skeet.
Mostly at the International Trap and Skeet range
in South El Monte.
And at several ranges no longer here.
The Winchester range on Alameda,
The Winchester range that was cross the freeway from El Toro,
One day a C-130 coming in for landing passed over so low,
if the gear was down, would have knocked us over.
The range that was near Whiteman Airport,
The range that is now the Goodyear blimp base in Carson.
The range on Artesia in Compton.
The Southgate trap range.
AHH The Good Old Days.

I enjoy shooting clay pigeons but I don't do it often. Mostly shoot targets.
