I ordered one of those extensions from MAX100 8 months ago now. He gave me the runaround in July but still after 8 months has not produced the item to me, nor has he returned my e-mails. I filed a complaint with G-pal that was the only time he got to me in JUly to give me some BS about being on vacation...guess so with the free money. I paid him 60 bucks. Don't trust him.

I bought one of these new and would like to get some accessories for it.....such as a flashlight and mount and maybe a scope for some bling..could anyone point me in the right direction on this. I havent seen any and was told due to the bayonet lug it would be hard to locate one

Is this MAX100 not sending the goods or what? A friend of mine said you can cut down a four inch Remington extension to 3.5 use a die to re-thread it and it will work, of course the spring has to be cut also. we are working on one now. if it works I will post all specs Tools used and time in doing this project. MAX100 Shame on you! There is to much fraud on the internet! Please correct your MISTAKES! I hope I am wrong a about you MAX100.

I have found an easier way to make a 3.5 extension for the Pardner shotgun.
Choate makes a 7 shot extension for the Remington 870.
Get a Choate extension from Choate Machine & Tool, Inc.
Take a pipe; put it through the open end hit the pipe end the front end cap will come off.
Place tube on shotgun, mark the extension where the cut is to happen flush with the barrel.
Remove it and use a tube cutter, on the extension tube.
A little cold blue on the fresh tube cut. Take end cap and tap it back on the end cap with mag nut at the opposite end & your done! A new spring and hardware comes with the kit.
P.S. The Cost is about $45.00 for the tube, $6.00 to $10.00 for the cold blue. $50.00 to $55.00 Dollars total if you have a tube cutter.
MAX 100 seem to of dropped off the earth! If you want that extension this is the way to go.

Be careful buying anything from this guy ! I ordered a 590A1 tube extension 1 year ago for 65.00 and never got it and they don't answer the emails.

About 2 months ago, I bought the Savage/Stevens 350 Security, (Ithica mod. 37 clone). There weren't any 982s in stock at the time, which is what I still intend to buy. The. 350 is well appointed as it comes, which is a good thing since after-market stuff is almost non-existant. But the Ithica 37 had such a great reputation, I thought why not both? I'm very glad I got the Stevens 350, but look forward to being able to re-configure the 982 to different tasks by changing bolt-on components.
