Picked up my M2000 last weekend and got to shoot it for the first time yesterday. Guns nicer than what i was expecting. But have a couple questions.

First, is what is the best way to break in this shot gun?

Second, I wish I could get a riffled barrel for it. But there is not one available. Can I shoot slugs in the std barrel?

Third, any popular mods or recomondations for the stoeger?

Haven't tried it, but I know there are slugs designed for non-rifled barrels. Probably just need the right choke.

I have the Defense model with the 18.5" barrel and it shoots slugs just fine. I cam make rifle like shots out to 50 yards with it. I'm not sure what choke you have, just give it a try.
