New shotgun

I just picked up a Stevens 320 12ga. 18" barrel. $223 for gun and two boxes of federal 00buckshot and the wife wasn't angry either lol.
I think I did alright today. What does everyone
Else think?

If you're happy, then it is a great price. Isn't that what it is all about?

Well I don't know much about these gun but the price seemed good and I thought that if it was half as good as their rifles I'd come out ok.

Can you post up a pic of the new shotgun for us?

I got it cleared. The bolt for some reason rotates at the extractor and it had rotated and was causing it to bind up cycles well just running shells through it but not sure how its going to work when shooting. I will try it again and see hopefully the was a one time thing. Ill will keep you all updated.

Here is the pic request from previous post.

I just read on another site to run 100 bird shot shells threw this shotgun to break it in. Use real light #8 1oz loads. They say it will be fine after that.

You just as well go one and polish the cylinder. All cheap shotgun ammo is steel cased and subject to hang in the cylinder. A short piece of 3/8" dowel and some steel wool will do the job. If you can't find a dowel you can get it done with a pencil. Try to find a heavy duty 1/2" drill to polish the cylinder. It's not that you will need the power. A 1/2" drill turns very slowly reducing the risk of something going wrong. Dollar tree sells steel wool that is in tube shaped roll that is perfect for polishing the cylinder on a shotgun.
