The Pardner is probably my favorite gun, bar none. I've never had a problem with it. Got mine a year ago, $180 new, not sure what they go for now.

I went to walmart and found I could indeed get it new for $185 so it's a no go on the used one. But now I just did taxes and owe a lot more than I thought so I'm holding off for a while anyway. Thanks for the help guys.

Did you find the one with the ribbed barrel, or the black one dragunovsks posted a picture of? The WalMart I checked last night said they didn't carry and couldn't order the one pictured by Dragunovsks. Of course it was a 2008 catalog however. I found the one he posted at Big 5 on sale for $225. No one else in the area seems to have it.

They didn't have any in stock, the guy opened a catalog and it had a big list of different Pardners available. I only checked the price on the one I wanted, with the 28" ribbed barrel. I did see some listed with shorter barrels and other options though.

I don't know, it might have been. When the time comes I'm gonna see if I can find a different real gun dealer that can get it though. I try to avoid giving any business to walmart. But if they're the only ones that have what I want I'll swallow my pride...

I would hesitate to buy a gun from Walmart, but their shells are superb!

I got mine at a local gunstore that sells a lot of Class III weapons and they also specialize in LE sales although they do sell to the non-LE public. I haven't seen them in there in a long time, not since last year when I got mine.

Thanks for the info. Looks like Big 5 for me to get one of those.
